There are times where the "conspiracy theorists" have things 100% spot on. Unfortunately, they're usually reported by people who have 0 credibility or are completely batshit they are not worth listening to. Other times, they spin something completely out of left field, their correct reporting is thrown out the window.
I came across

article
today, and I couldn't believe that someone claiming to report on a story—regardless of affiliation, beliefs, or agenda—could get something so terribly wrong! The car is 8 years old and, as many here in Oppo-Land have agreed upon, is regarded as the last old-school, analog, "bite your head off because I can" supercar. How could anyone possibly believe this drivel?

someone needs to get slapped with some facts on this one.

All speculation, no proof. I dislike the government as much as the next guy, but randomly killing off a relatively young actor and his friend is just so petty.

My thoughts exactly. Unfortunately, Kinja stopped me short from going on a rant about this. I'll leave as is.

if the government starts tracking my car everywhere i go it's time for revolution. the claim for desiring safety for everyone is seeming more like a cover for their attempts to know more about everyone and be more involved in all of our business. fuck that shit.

Are you making fun of the article, or saying they've got it right?
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that claiming Walker's death was the result of foul play is a crock of horse shit.
Especially if the evidences is 'THERE'S FIRE JUST LIKE THIS OTHER CRASH'

Kinja cut me off, and I decided to finish. I couldn't believe people could actually take that article seriously.

Should we start a pool to see how quickly this article gets touted as "truth" by Alex Jones?

Ah. I was very confused by your initial post, and actually it's still a bit unclear since you open by saying conspiracy theorists are sometimes right.
Just making sure no one here is drinking the Kool Aid, because that's a lot of stupid.

But isn't it a blessing in disguise? Pleebs get tracked, while you get incentive to buy that old muscle car you always wanted.

"Furthermore, there is actually a bill being considered at this time that would legally mandate all new cars after 2014 be monitored and tracked at all times, allowing the government access to such knowledge as how many passengers are in the car, where you are going, the speed you are traveling, and the weight of the car’s contents. The Government claims the desire to track all people at all times is for their “safety.”"
WAKE UP SHEEPLE!!!!!

Perfectly understandable. Blame Kinja for the confusion.

False flag planted by the Obama administration to avert you from his Marxist, Muslim, New World Order agenda. Had Paul been wearing his blue U.N. helmet stamped 666, he'd still be alive today and would still be confiscating your guns and freedom as we speak.

I'm younger than most on here. I have very modern taste. though I think when I'm about 25 and there are 8 year old CTS-V coupes on the market there's no way I'd consider a new car...
